Ann Paul :
Lead consultant:
Ann has been working in the not-for-profit sector for the past 13 years, having been engaged prior to that time in commercial enterprises ranging from steel and shipbuilding to timber importing.
Having made this life-change, Ann has specialised in senior management roles and in fundraising at the highest levels in large charities, focussing mostly on relationship fundraising.
Ann participated in leadership development with The Industrial Society (now the Work Foundation) and was privileged to lead on a number of leadership programmes for the voluntary sector as well as speaking on a wide variety of leadership subjects.
In 2007 Ann decided it was time to branch out into working as an advisor in thenot-for-profit sector and has been working with a number of charities on their strategic development, and governance, leadership programmes and income generation needs, including running workshops to enable these charities to work effectively into the future.
Furthermore, Ann is a trustee of Action Medical Research and is a member of a Metropolitan Police Independent Advisory Panel (Hendon Training Centre).
Deryn Holland:

Respected for her innovative ideas in bring learning into practice in organisations, Deryn is now an independent coach and leadership consultant. She has been a senior leader in global organisations, local government, education and the BBC where she headed up training for BBC Production. Her work and interests are international and cross-cultural, ranging across voluntary, public and private sectors. Her experience ranges from setting up new departments through to managing change and creating imaginative development opportunities for individuals, teams and organisations. Deryn has acted as a consultant for organisations such as The Centre for Creative Leadership, The Campaign for Leadership, UNESCO and The British Council, and the Commonwealth, often working overseas, from Western Europe to Asia, Africa and the USA. Wanting to be resourceful Deryn continues to pursue her own development and is currently training to be a supervisor of coaches and gaining her ICF (International Coaching Federation) Diploma accreditation. She delights in seeing people grow in confidence and competence.
Gillian Eldridge:

Education:
Gillian is a highly experienced senior manager with 20 years service in Post 16 education in both public and voluntary sectors. She is an enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. with well developed analytical and decision making skills Gillian is deeply committed to equality and diversity and the provision of high quality services.
Gillian also has significant experience of education governance and is currently Vice Chair of the Harrow College Corporation.
Amy Kweskin (USA)
Leadership, Arts, Cross cultural working in US:
Amy Kweskin is an internationally recognized non-profit management consultant with a specialization in organisational sustainability. She has worked with hundreds of arts and culture organisations to assess and develop strategic plans that capitalize on earned revenue opportunities and cross-sector partnerships, while developing leadership capacity of board and staff. Recognized for her expertise, Amy was brought on as Professor of Arts Administration at the University of Houston Downtown and subsequently was invited to study in the Arts Management Doctoral program at City University in London, England.
In 2006 Amy relocated to London to guide an international social enterprise in building sustainable business development practices. As an alternative to moving into the academic track, Amy trained as leadership coach in the UK, to ensure that she could best support non-profit leaders in reaching their fullest potential. She returned to the San Francisco Bay Area in May 2008.
Amy was a Research Fellow with Americans for the Arts in 2005-06. She earned a Masters in Arts Administration from Golden Gate University and Bachelors Degrees in Cinema/Photography and English from Ithaca College.

Alice Reynolds: Photo to follow
Fundraising, Capital Appeals:
Alice has more than 17 years of experience in fundraising as a consultant and fundraising director in the education and health sectors. Her fundraising experience spans major gift fundraising from high net worth individuals, companies, trusts and foundations to strategic planning and working with trustees and campaign boards.
With key interest in fundraising for start-ups and change initiatives, Alice previously assisted many education sector clients when a Senior Consultant with Iain More Associates, and clients included the Sutton Trust and the University of Kent. Assignments ranged from strategic advice, feasibility studies and major gift work to providing interim management. Most recently, as an independent fundraising consultant, Alice advised Bishopsgate Institute, in the City of London, on developing and launching its £7m capital campaign and is currently assisting Bioversity International to establish its UK fundraising initiative.
Alice’s has held fundraising director roles with The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust. At the latter, during her four-year tenure the unit helped to raise in excess of £20m in philanthropic income. Prior to that Alice was an Associate Development Director at London Business School with a particular focus on securing major gifts for a £23m capital campaign.
Alice began her fundraising career with Macmillan Cancer Support and prior to that spent five years in the health sector. She holds a post-graduate management qualification from Kingston University and is a member of the Institute of Fundraising and the Institute of Directors.
John Ryan:
Leadership, Management consultancy:
John is a skilled, performance driven leader with an exemplary police service record and substantial strategic and practical experience in a wide variety of settings. These include operational policing, major investigation success and complex (unique) experiences within the prison and the criminal justice system and a very successful track record in partnership working, training, human resources and change management locally, nationally and internationally.
John’s capabilities were brought into sharp focus and benefit in the period 2005/07 when as a Chief Superintendent he led a UK Civilian Police armed mission in a hostile environment (Basra & Baghdad, Iraq) to develop an efficient, effective, credible and community supported police service through mentoring, leadership, training and development.
John is currently working with public sector organisations such as police, schools, youth offending and victim support to improve their training, development and professionalism. He has also brought organisational benefits to the Institute of Gas Engineers/Transco (2004), Jaguar Land Rover (2005), North Yorkshire Police Snr managers (2006) and the ‘new’ Home Office (2007).
John’s qualifications include NVQ in leadership, CiPD Certificate in Personnel Practice, AA1 National Occupational Standard award in promoting and respecting diversity, as well as the City & Guilds A1 assessment (previously D32/33) award in training, development and mentoring.
He has been commended seven times for public service, leadership and dedication.
